Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Experience building APIs using modern backend technologies.
- Ability to communicate complex technical problems to technical and non-technical partners.
- Track record of delivering high-quality software projects.
- Enthusiasm for building systems using AI and large language models.
- Experience building systems with AI/LLMs (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic).
- Experience with server-side technology, specifically Python and MySQL.
- Experience with a modern JavaScript framework, such as React or Angular.
- Experience deploying systems on AWS or other cloud providers.
- DevOps and observability experience or interest in learning these areas.
Responsibilities
- Ship AI-powered feature improvements to production.
- Partner with Product and UX teams to scope and design new product capabilities.
- Own significant features end-to-end from design through deployment.
- Shape technical direction for AI-native product experiences.
- Mentor other engineers and collaborate to improve team development practices.
- Build partnerships with support and infrastructure teams to resolve production issues.
