Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience with accounting systems, nonprofit finances, and federal grant management.
  • Experience managing budgets and fiscal systems for federal and state grants requiring audits.
  • Demonstrated experience working with federal grants.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks.
  • Expertise in federal, state, and local tax requirements for corporate compliance.
  • Fluency with Google Suite, Adobe, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Demonstrated high levels of personal accountability for remote work environments.
  • Proven experience developing and implementing internal financial processes and protocols.
  • Strong relationship-building and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee full-cycle bookkeeping, payroll, invoicing, and producer payment disbursements.
  • Manage organizational budgets, daily cash flow, and financial forecasting.
  • Ensure project expenditures and reporting strictly comply with GAAP and OMB Uniform Guidance (2 CFR 200).
  • Prepare comprehensive financial statements, business activity reports, and grant expenditure reports.
  • Maintain documentation and internal controls for federal monitoring and annual external audits.
  • Collaborate with the executive team to support long-term financial planning and board presentations.
