Requirements
- Experience with Open Source, Data, and Governance.
- Strong understanding of the Generative AI product landscape.
- Knowledge of AI projects by and for the Global Majority.
- Experience working with diverse worldwide projects and groups.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently.
- Fluency in English.
- Ability to complete the project within 1 to 3 months.
Responsibilities
- Conduct landscape mapping and actor analysis in the space of open data and mission-aligned AI training.
- Perform a concise analysis of key actors, dependencies, concepts, and ongoing processes.
- Assess research results for relevance to Wikimedia Deutschland regarding collaboration, product development, and funding opportunities.
- Deliver a foundation for strategic decision-making and prioritized funding opportunities for leadership.
- Support the development of a strategic stance on open dataset stewardship and reuse in the context of generative AI.
