Requirements
- PhD or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field with a focus on medical applications.
- Proven expertise in machine learning, deep learning, and statistical modeling applied to medical data.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Julia.
- Experience with medical data processing libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
- Experience with medical imaging data (e.g., MRI, CT, X-ray) and relevant toolkits (e.g., ITK, SimpleITK, MONAI).
- Strong publication record in peer-reviewed medical or AI research journals.
- Familiarity with healthcare data standards (e.g., DICOM, HL7) and regulatory compliance (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced research environment with iterative development cycles.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and validate machine learning models for medical imaging analysis and clinical decision support.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including clinicians, data scientists, and software engineers to translate research into scalable solutions.
- Publish findings in academic journals and present results at conferences to advance the state of medical research.
- Optimize algorithms for performance, accuracy, and computational efficiency on large-scale medical datasets.
- Contribute to the development of internal tools and frameworks that accelerate medical research workflows.
