Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
- 7+ years of professional project or program management experience delivering complex IT projects.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- 3-5+ years of experience managing direct or indirect resources.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) in Agile environments.
- Agile/SAFe experience or relevant certifications (e.g., CSM, PMI-ACP, SAFe).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience using project management tools such as Smartsheet, MS Project, or JIRA.
- Ability to manage project budgets throughout the lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Lead and direct the delivery of application development, systems integration, and infrastructure projects.
- Manage the full project lifecycle including requirements registration, cross-team dependencies, and risk assessments.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between program leadership and external government clients.
- Facilitate cross-functional coordination among engineering, security, business operations, and leadership.
- Manage project budget execution, staffing plans, and resource forecasts in partnership with finance.
- Provide executive-level briefings, status reporting, and manage the RAID log (risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies).
- Oversee delivery against contract requirements, ensuring quality, traceability, and adherence to lifecycle standards.
