Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of insurance claims experience in bodily injury and property damage.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial transportation, with a focus on delivery and/or courier claims.
- Minimum 3 years of leadership experience.
- Active insurance licensure (home state or designated home state).
- Willingness to obtain all relevant licenses within 45 days of hire.
- Proficiency in leveraging technology and analytics to drive performance.
- Demonstrated ability to motivate, teach, and support a team.
- Commitment to quality, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Strong integrity, ethics, and accountability regarding sensitive information.
Responsibilities
- Manage and support a team of commercial transportation adjusting staff.
- Balance management responsibilities with individual claims handling.
- Implement and maintain best practices for claim intake, investigation, evaluation, settlement, and recovery.
- Foster a positive work environment, lead team training, and support professional development.
- Prepare and present comprehensive claims reports, metrics, and analyses to clients.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for escalations, roundtable discussions, and team workshops.
- Provide backup leadership for the claims manager when needed.
