Requirements
- 5+ years of insurance claims experience in multiple lines of business.
- Specific experience with bodily injury and property damage claims.
- Active adjuster license (resident state or Designated Home State).
- 3+ years of leadership experience, preferably in a remote environment.
- Proven ability to motivate, support, and teach a team.
- Comfortable with technology and evolving claims systems.
- Strong commitment to quality, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain integrity and handle confidential information.
Responsibilities
- Oversee work within the Commercial Transportation Claims adjusting staff.
- Balance management responsibilities with individual contributor duties.
- Implement and maintain best practices for claim intake, investigation, evaluation, settlement, and recovery.
- Serve as a resource for escalated claims.
- Foster a positive work environment and provide team training.
- Prepare and present comprehensive claims reports, metrics, and analyses to clients.
- Identify trends to discuss in team huddles and workshops.
- Serve as backup/leader when the Manager/Director is out of office.
