Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience as a software engineer, backend developer, or API developer.
- Strong expertise in Java development.
- Experience building secure, scalable RESTful APIs using frameworks such as Spring Boot, JAX-RS, or Jersey.
- Solid understanding of API architecture, security principles, design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
- Experience working with enterprise databases such as Oracle, MariaDB, PostgreSQL, or Aurora.
- Familiarity with Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, Jira, and Confluence.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for technical documentation and architecture presentations.
- Experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Aurora, and Lambda is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Experience with microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitLab is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, deploy, and maintain enterprise-grade backend applications and RESTful APIs throughout the complete software development lifecycle.
- Build and optimize API-driven solutions using Java technologies and enterprise application architectures.
- Develop and maintain cloud-native data processing workflows and ETL solutions using AWS services.
- Design, implement, and optimize database solutions across large-scale enterprise environments.
- Manage development workflows, source control, and CI/CD processes using tools such as GitHub, Bitbucket, and Jira.
- Apply Agile and SAFe methodologies to support iterative development and sprint execution.
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, and security validation to ensure application reliability.
- Monitor application performance and troubleshoot production issues.
- Collaborate with architects and stakeholders to define technical requirements and deliver software solutions.
- Provide technical guidance and documentation to support engineering best practices.
