Requirements
- Over one year of work experience in KYC/compliance, preferably in a highly regulated environment.
- Clear understanding and effective application of regulatory requirements in the UK.
- Robust understanding and hands-on experience with CDD (Customer Due Diligence) and EDD (Enhanced Due Diligence) processes.
- Prior experience working with Google Sheets.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to digest large datasets and identify patterns and trends.
- Outstanding English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
- Proven decision-making skills and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
Responsibilities
- Verify the identity of new customers by collecting and analyzing relevant documentation like government-issued IDs, proof of address, and business registration documents.
- Assess the risk associated with each customer based on industry, geographic location, transaction patterns, and nature of business.
- Liaise with KYC policies and procedures to ensure consistent understanding of compliance requirements.
- Conduct thorough due diligence on all customers including CDD and EDD procedures to ensure alignment with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Identify areas for enhancement to improve efficiency and the overall member experience.
- Extend assistance whenever required within the business.
