Requirements
- 3+ years of experience shipping production work with a portfolio demonstrating process and impact.
- Advanced Figma skills (components, variables, auto-layout, prototyping).
- Experience designing data-dense, workflow-heavy interfaces (tables, filters, dashboards).
- Experience using LLMs as part of the design toolkit.
- Ability to work independently with occasional support from Staff Designers.
- Fluent in English.
- Available in the afternoons 2-3 days a week for occasional US time zone alignment.
- Clear design process and ability to give and take honest feedback.
Responsibilities
- Design intuitive, accessible internal tools that Hippo teams use daily.
- Partner with PMs and Engineers from discovery to shipping features that impact operational metrics.
- Conduct user interviews, shadow sessions, and lightweight feedback loops.
- Sketch, wireframe, and prototype at appropriate fidelity for the problem.
- Facilitate alignment conversations between product, design, and engineering.
- Share process and work openly in weekly design crits.
