Requirements
- 5+ years of software design experience.
- Experience designing for SaaS businesses.
- Breadth of craft across visual design, product thinking, brand, and interaction design.
- Systems thinking capability to design scalable components and patterns.
- Courage to challenge ideas and push product direction forward.
- Fluency in Figma and other prototyping tools.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills suitable for an async work culture.
- Ability to operate with ownership and navigate ambiguity in a fast-paced startup environment.
Responsibilities
- Partner directly with the founding designer, product, and engineering teams to move projects from rough problem to shipped solution.
- Improve existing product areas, ranging from full redesigns to fixing smaller quality issues.
- Use and evolve the company's design system across product, marketing, and brand surfaces.
- Design mockups and prototypes in low- and high-fidelity to communicate ideas.
- Contribute to building a growing design culture.
- Focus on detailed UI craftsmanship for embedded product experiences.
