Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical, or civil engineering (or finance/economics).
- 15 or more years of experience in the power industry.
- Experience as an owner's engineer, independent engineer, or design engineer for power generation.
- Proven experience managing teams of engineers.
- Technical knowledge in multiple power generation technologies (solar, battery storage, wind, thermal).
- Experience performing feasibility studies for power projects.
- Ability to travel occasionally.
- Experience in long-term power supply and transmission planning (plus).
- Experience in project finance or financial modeling of power projects (plus).
- Familiarity with project contracts such as PPAs, asset transfer agreements, and EPC contracts (plus).
- Prior experience in a consulting role (plus).
Responsibilities
- Develop consulting project execution plans tailored to client needs.
- Review technical deliverables including reports and studies.
- Lead project teams by providing clear technical instruction and guidance.
- Manage project hours, budget, and scope to ensure high-quality standards.
- Develop staff expertise through active training and mentoring.
- Prepare proposals for consulting project opportunities.
- Support multiple simultaneous projects while managing client stakeholders.
- Travel occasionally to project sites and client offices.
