Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Life Sciences, Engineering, or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in R&D tax credits, government incentives, grants, finance, analytics, or consulting.
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex global programs with multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong project management, financial analysis, and business analysis skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint proficiency.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical and financial concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Experience within life sciences, CRO, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or professional services environments.
  • MBA, CPA, MST, PMP, PhD, or equivalent advanced qualification is preferred.
  • Experience with Power BI, data visualization, and business intelligence platforms is preferred.
  • Experience with international R&D incentive programs and grant mechanisms is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Own Precision's global R&D tax credit program and innovation incentive initiatives.
  • Develop and execute annual filing strategies and compliance plans across participating countries.
  • Partner with business leaders to identify qualifying R&D activities and maximize eligible claims.
  • Manage external tax advisors, consultants, auditors, and government agencies.
  • Lead responses to tax authority reviews, audits, and information requests.
  • Identify and evaluate new country opportunities for R&D tax incentives and innovation funding.
  • Develop KPI frameworks, dashboards, and reporting to measure program effectiveness.
  • Support cross-functional transformation projects involving analytics, process improvement, and automation.
