- 8–9 years of professional experience developing commercial software products.
- Strong proficiency in RPG & CL.
- Expertise in DB2 SQL, SQL procedures, and user-defined functions.
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
- In-depth knowledge of SOLID principles, software architecture, and design patterns.
- Experience with testing approaches including unit, system, integration, and performance testing.
- Experience working with Agile software development methodologies in geographically distributed teams.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, think critically, and solve complex technical problems.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, debug, and maintain software solutions in alignment with engineering standards.
- Apply advanced object-oriented programming, architectural patterns, and design principles to create scalable applications.
- Estimate development efforts and manage tasks to meet defined schedules.
- Identify technical and process improvements to enhance system quality, efficiency, and reliability.
- Take ownership of complex project components and contribute to new initiatives.
