Requirements
- 8+ years of progressive professional experience in DevOps, platform engineering, or systems engineering.
- Demonstrated advanced working knowledge of DevOps concepts including CI/CD, automation, and infrastructure as code.
- Strong hands-on experience with Linux and/or Windows administration, scripting, and source control.
- Practical experience with containers, monitoring, logging, and modern platform engineering practices.
- Demonstrated ability to independently lead complex assignments and technical initiatives.
- Experience leading cross-functional workstreams, organizing tasks, and managing stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor engineers and influence technical decisions without formal management authority.
- Ability to use AI-enabled tools responsibly to improve productivity and documentation.
- Experience designing AI-driven DevOps platforms and architecture.
- Proficiency in Python or similar languages for building operational tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
Responsibilities
- Design, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to improve deployment efficiency, consistency, and scalability.
- Architect and provision infrastructure in cloud and hosted environments using infrastructure as code practices.
- Lead complex technical projects or cross-functional workstreams, coordinating dependencies and risks.
- Provide technical leadership, mentor team members, and influence engineering design and best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex deployment, infrastructure, and environment issues, including participation in incident response.
- Monitor system health, analyze telemetry, and implement improvements in reliability and operational efficiency.
- Apply AI-driven solutions to optimize CI/CD, observability, incident response, and infrastructure management.
- Standardize engineering practices, deployment patterns, and operational runbooks.
