Requirements
- Three (3) years of responsible administrative experience, or a Bachelor’s degree in business.
- Proficiency in computer software including Web-based applications, MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook, and Google Docs.
- Knowledge of principles and practices of administration, management, or program rules, regulations, and operating procedures.
- Ability to create letters, memos, and emails with sufficient written communication skills.
- Excellent organization and workload management skills.
- Strong interpersonal relations and conflict resolution skills.
- Analytical skills to assess and prioritize projects.
- Strong computer skills including accurate data entry and database software.
- Ability to work without direct supervision and maintain high attention to detail.
- Ability to learn and apply federal and state laws, regulations, and policies.
Responsibilities
- Schedule life safety inspections by phone and/or email.
- Update and enter information into the electronic database system.
- Ensure inspections are scheduled within required timeframes.
- Review upcoming inspections and prioritize based on due date and geographical location.
- Answer questions regarding life safety inspection procedures.
- Complete special projects and provide administrative support such as scheduling appointments or meetings.
- Organize, maintain electronic data, and prepare reports for management.
- Monitor email inboxes and direct incoming correspondence to the correct staff.
