Requirements
- Hands-on experience building with LLMs in production (prompt engineering, tool/function calling, evaluation frameworks, or agent orchestration).
- Solid backend experience in Elixir, Go, or Python, or a comparable server-side language.
- Comfort working across the stack, from data model and LLM logic to APIs and UI.
- Proven track record of leading projects from specification to launch.
- Strong sense of ownership and ability to execute on ambiguous problems.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Eagerness to explore and apply new AI models, tools, and techniques.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and own the systems that power Voice AI and Text AI agents, handling end-to-end customer touchpoints.
- Craft system-level prompts to shape agent behavior, reliability, and outcomes.
- Develop tool-calling integrations for real-world agent actions such as appointment booking and data retrieval.
- Build LLM-as-a-judge evaluations and AI observability tools, including telemetry and quality dashboards.
- Partner with product and design teams to balance user needs and technical requirements.
- Apply industry-standard practices like code review, automated testing, CI/CD, and A/B experimentation.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers.
