Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) required.
- Minimum 7 years of accounting experience, preferably in retail or multi-branch operations.
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems (QuickBooks Enterprise, NetSuite, RAMP).
- Expertise in retail and inventory accounting, including POS accruals, COGS, and margin analysis.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling.
- Experience preparing audit-ready financial statements and supporting external audits.
- Competence in financial forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
- Familiarity with financial automation tools and AI-enabled accounting systems.
- Ability to design and document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Responsibilities
- Lead improvements in accounting processes, reporting accuracy, and audit readiness.
- Act as a thought partner to management to support strategic initiatives.
- Provide operational oversight and financial forecasting.
- Design and document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for accounting workflows.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, IT, and external auditors.
- Guide and mentor junior accounting staff.
