Requirements
- 6+ years of experience supporting platform teams, preferably with data platforms or products.
- Experience building and scaling data platforms.
- Proven experience building 0->1 platforms over long time horizons.
- Ability to balance independence and strong communication while driving priorities.
- Strong frameworks for building complex platforms with clear sequencing and goal tracking.
- Intensely curious and collaborative approach to teaming with other PMs and engineers.
- Technical sharpness in data platform topics, including data push/pull, databases, storage, querying, and APIs.
- Outcome-oriented mindset with a focus on business and customer goals.
- Openness to using AI to strengthen work and improve efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Own the impactful Foundations roadmap, pairing closely with engineering counterparts to plan durable platform investments.
- Collaborate closely with other product teams to understand platform needs and balance short and long-term requirements.
- Drive the Vanta data platform strategy and support GRC strategies, focusing on sequencing and platform enablement.
- Guide trade-offs between feature development and platform stability to provide clear direction.
- Enable and evangelize the data platform to encourage contribution and usage across the organization.
- Work directly with customers to understand unique requirements and opportunities.
- Look ahead 12-18 months to build a platform that scales, including AI-native uses and agent operations.
- Create and measure key metrics for platform investments, including scalability and queryability.
