Requirements
- Chartered Accountant (CA) fresher qualification or equivalent academic background in accounting, finance, or a related discipline.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to accuracy and detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for analysis and reporting.
- Familiarity with accounting systems.
- Understanding of journal entries, reconciliations, accounts payable, and financial operations.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Adaptability when handling changing procedures and priorities.
Responsibilities
- Prepare daily and month-end journal entries and perform account reconciliations.
- Process accounts payable activities and ensure timely vendor payments.
- Support treasury operations, including cash reconciliations and wire/ACH transactions.
- Manage and maintain accurate records for trust account balances.
- Assist with financial reporting activities and maintain accounting documentation.
- Support year-end audit preparation by organizing required financial records.
- Identify opportunities to simplify and improve accounting processes.
- Use Excel and financial systems to enhance operational efficiency.
- Support system enhancements and ad hoc financial analyses.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve discrepancies and maintain accounting controls.
