Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of two years of experience in cost estimating.
- Proficiency in advanced functions of CostX.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Understanding of industry standards such as NRM, SMM, and RICS/CIOB guidelines.
- Knowledge of construction technologies and sustainability trends.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Data Center construction experience is highly preferred.
- Field experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ), cost plans, and tender documents using industry standards.
- Perform take-offs and measurements from drawings and specifications.
- Assist with contract administration, including assessing variations, valuations, and subcontractor payments.
- Support cost monitoring, budget tracking, and cash flow forecasting.
- Manage procurement activities including price comparisons, tender analysis, and negotiation.
- Collaborate with site teams, clients, and consultants to gather data for valuations.
- Identify potential cost risks and opportunities for value engineering.
