Requirements
- 4+ years of M&A integration experience with direct ownership of integrations across multiple transactions.
- Direct experience in pre-close operational due diligence, Day 1 readiness planning, or separation/TSA work.
- Operating experience inside a business, beyond exclusively advisory roles.
- Familiarity with PE-backed environments and stakeholder dynamics.
- Proven ability to build and document scalable integration processes and playbooks.
- Strong track record of driving outcomes through influence with executives and founders.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent integrations at various lifecycle stages.
- Strong academic record or equivalent track record of rigorous, structured work.
- Experience with B2B SaaS or vertical software integrations is a plus.
- Experience with carve-outs, including TSA definition and governance.
- Familiarity with tools such as Sage Intacct, Rippling, or Ramp is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Partner with deal teams on operational due diligence, assessing systems landscape, team capacity, and process maturity.
- Deliver written operational assessments and integration risk reports to the Investment Committee.
- Develop practical integration plans and lead Day 1 readiness, including ERP migration and employee experience roadmaps.
- Scope and negotiate Transitional Service Agreements (TSAs) for corporate carve-outs.
- Lead the integration management office, including weekly cadences, steering committee reporting, and functional workstream coordination.
- Maintain accountability for integration outcomes and report progress, risks, and recommendations to leadership.
- Conduct post-deal retrospectives to refine and document the company's internal integration playbook.
