Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in platform engineering, DevOps, or cloud infrastructure.
- Strong experience with Kubernetes administration and internals including scheduler, kubelet, and CRDs.
- Proficiency in Go and scripting languages such as Python or Bash for automation and tooling.
- Deep knowledge of container security including image scanning, runtime isolation, and admission control.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform and Ansible.
- Experience in CI/CD pipeline design.
- Familiarity with observability stacks including Prometheus and Grafana for monitoring and incident response.
- Excellent problem-solving skills across networking, load balancing, and distributed systems.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain production-grade automation using Ansible, Terraform, and Go.
- Develop and enhance core services such as VKE, VLB (HAProxy), VCR, and Inference.
- Engage deeply with Kubernetes internals including scheduler, kubelet, controllers, and CRDs.
- Design, implement, and improve container runtime integrations like containerd, runc, and OCI.
- Architect CI/CD improvements and deployment pipelines for large-scale systems.
- Troubleshoot complex issues across networking, load balancing, containers, and distributed systems.
- Harden platform infrastructure through security best practices including vulnerability scanning, container image signing, admission controllers, and secrets management.
- Contribute directly to open-source ecosystem tools including terraform provider, crossplane, vultr-cli, and govultr.
- Improve overall reliability, observability, and operability of cloud-native services.
- Collaborate with product, platform, and infrastructure teams on feature delivery.
