Requirements
- Solid experience with at least one programming language such as Go, Python, C, C++, or Rust.
- Proven experience delivering projects from gathering requirements through to final product shipment.
- Experience developing software that runs in the cloud or demonstrated systems engineering expertise.
- Ability to write clean, robust, and maintainable software.
- Pragmatic approach to breaking down complex challenges into modular solutions.
- Experience with Kubernetes and Docker is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with Grafana and Prometheus in operational or on-call environments is a plus.
- Understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems is beneficial.
- Knowledge of infrastructure as code and SRE operational practices is desirable.
- Strong self-starter attitude with the ability to work effectively in a remote team setting.
Responsibilities
- Influence the product roadmap and define individual career objectives.
- Deliver new features and iterate based on performance and user results.
- Drive projects from initial ideation through implementation and operational maintenance.
- Contribute to open-source projects beyond immediate team scope.
- Design, build, and maintain critical distributed systems with a focus on reliability and availability.
- Participate in on-call rotations and take ownership of service operations.
- Collaborate with team members through design discussions and technical support.
