Requirements
- Strong professional experience building production applications in TypeScript and React.
- Demonstrated experience delivering React web applications integrated with databases like MySQL or SQL Server.
- Experience building cloud-native applications on AWS, including API Gateway, Lambda, ECS, and CloudWatch.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Practical understanding of secure software development, least-privilege access, and secrets management.
- Hands-on experience using agentic, AI-assisted development tools with appropriate human validation and review.
- Knowledge of browser compatibility, mobile-friendly standards, and WCAG accessibility requirements.
- Experience improving application performance, reliability, scalability, and cloud cost efficiency.
- Familiarity with issue tracking and source control tools like Jira and GitHub.
- Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision and manage time effectively.
- Strong collaboration skills with a results-oriented, growth-focused mindset.
Responsibilities
- Develop new cloud application features from React frontend to AWS backend services.
- Own technical solutions and feature improvements from initial design through production deployment.
- Design and implement scalable, observable technical solutions including documentation and architecture decision records.
- Support production systems through monitoring, alerting, incident response, and reliability improvements.
- Build high-quality software through automated testing and peer code reviews.
- Mentor other engineers on effective and responsible use of agentic AI development tools.
- Collaborate across teams to maintain clear API, event, and data contracts.
