Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of experience in clinical and drug development within the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry, or a Master's degree (or higher) with 6+ years of relevant experience.
- Strong understanding of global drug development processes, lifecycle management, and cross-functional program execution.
- Proven experience leading complex, matrixed teams and managing multiple stakeholders in a global environment.
- Demonstrated expertise in project planning, risk management, milestone tracking, and governance processes.
- Ability to transform detailed scientific and technical information into strategic business insights and executive presentations.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative and inclusive leadership approach.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and project management tools.
- PMP certification or equivalent program management credentials are considered an advantage.
- Willingness to travel as needed to support global program activities.
Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee global drug development programs, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, timelines, and key milestones across the product lifecycle.
- Develop, maintain, and monitor integrated program plans and schedules, identifying dependencies, critical paths, and potential risks.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration by coordinating program meetings, preparing agendas, documenting decisions, and tracking action items.
- Partner with scientific, clinical, and business leaders to translate complex information into strategic presentations and executive-level communications.
- Drive effective decision-making by proactively identifying issues, resolving conflicts, and escalating critical risks when necessary.
- Support budget planning and tracking activities, highlighting financial impacts and ensuring efficient resource allocation.
- Lead planning workshops and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance program management processes, governance, and operational excellence.
- Provide program management expertise to core and sub-teams, while mentoring stakeholders and supporting organizational best practices.
