Requirements
- Proven platform and infrastructure engineering experience at a senior level.
- Deep, hands-on experience architecting Kubernetes and Docker ecosystems from the ground up.
- Tactical judgment to transition legacy bare-metal VPS setups to modern managed cloud platforms.
- Experience engineering high-velocity CI/CD pipelines that eliminate manual bottlenecks.
- Technical command of security fundamentals, including secrets management and access controls.
- Experience implementing proactive observability and monitoring frameworks.
- Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.
- Collaborative mindset for working alongside software engineers on production-grade infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Architect and deploy a Kubernetes ecosystem from the ground up, managing the migration from Hetzner to a managed cloud solution.
- Engineer ephemeral staging environments to enable high-velocity feature testing.
- Drive system resilience, including horizontal scaling, uptime optimization, and backup and recovery protocols.
- Modernize release infrastructure by replacing legacy SFTP and manual scripts with automated CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with full-stack engineers to decompose monoliths into distributed services.
- Command the security landscape through secrets management and rigorous access controls.
- Engineer a proactive observability framework, including monitoring and alerting protocols.
