Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
- Proven experience developing end-to-end data pipelines extracting/transforming/loading from REST APIs, relational databases, and cloud storage.
- Advanced SQL development skills with ability to write complex queries and optimize large-scale workloads.
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake virtual warehouses, streams, tasks, stages, Snowpipe, and secure data sharing.
- Experience with dimensional modeling techniques including star schemas and fact/dimension tables.
- Familiarity with cloud-based data ecosystems, specifically Microsoft Azure (ADLS, Data Factory, Key Vault).
- Experience managing source code and CI/CD pipelines using Git and Azure DevOps.
- Knowledge of data integration best practices, data governance, and enterprise data management.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Python (PySpark), Snowflake, and cloud-native technologies.
- Utilize Snowflake’s architecture to design, build, and optimize modern cloud data solutions.
- Implement and manage Snowflake objects including streams, tasks, stages, and stored procedures.
- Extract and ingest data from REST APIs, relational databases, SaaS apps, and cloud storage.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to create logical and physical data models.
- Implement automated data quality controls and monitoring processes.
- Monitor and optimize Snowflake workloads and SQL queries to ensure performance and cost efficiency.
