Requirements
- 7+ years experience in Data Warehousing (Azure, SQL, Synapse, Spark, Delta Lake).
- 7+ years experience in ETL (ADF Pipelines, SSIS), Analysis Services, DAX, and Power BI.
- 2+ years working in a Data Architect capacity.
- Familiarity with big data and event-driven technologies (Hadoop, Kafka, Event Hubs, Service Bus).
- Experience migrating data processing workloads from on-premises to Azure.
- Experience with database performance tuning.
- Experience managing data quality monitoring and governance methodologies.
- Knowledge of Kimball Dimensional Modeling and batch/incremental ETL approaches.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to travel ~10-20% on an as-needed basis.
Responsibilities
- Design and document scalable, secure, and efficient data integration and analytics architectures.
- Perform complex organization-wide analysis and create data strategies.
- Lead, design, and implement DevOps and CI/CD solutions.
- Own project backlogs, sprint planning, and task estimations.
- Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance.
- Oversee project teams and source code to ensure quality and adherence to timelines.
- Support technical pre-sales conversations, requirements gathering, and estimations.
