Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience building business intelligence solutions, including data models, metrics, and dashboards.
- Strong background in data modeling and metric definition.
- Proven experience with cloud data warehousing, specifically Snowflake.
- Hands-on experience using dbt for transformations.
- Demonstrated breadth across BI tools (e.g., ThoughtSpot, Sigma, Tableau, Power BI, Qlik Sense).
- Strong SQL proficiency.
- Fluency in AI-native development workflows using coding agents and AI tooling.
- Ability to translate business needs into technical deliverables.
- Experience in pharmacy benefits management or regulated healthcare industries (preferred).
- Experience with version control, CI/CD, and software engineering practices (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain gold-layer data models and a governed metrics layer in Snowflake using dbt.
- Establish metric definitions as a single source of truth with clear ownership and change management.
- Partner with data engineering to manage the boundary between raw/silver pipelines and the gold/metrics layer.
- Build and maintain dashboards and analytics experiences in an enterprise BI platform.
- Optimize dashboards and queries for high-volume data performance.
- Utilize coding agents and AI-assisted tooling to accelerate development and documentation.
- Contribute to platform architecture, governance standards, and automation initiatives.
