Requirements
- Experience working as a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, BI Analyst, or similar role.
- Strong background in data discovery, data analysis, and business process understanding.
- Experience analyzing and organizing data from multiple systems or platforms.
- Ability to reverse-engineer business processes and translate them into data requirements.
- Strong understanding of data modeling concepts and data normalization principles.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to business stakeholders.
- Ability to identify gaps, challenge assumptions, and provide clear recommendations.
- Highly proactive mindset with strong ownership and follow-through.
- Experience working in highly visible roles with frequent stakeholder interaction.
- Familiarity with BI tools such as Tableau or Cognos.
- Exposure to AI-enabled analytics tools such as Copilot, Genie, or Claude.
- Ability to work full-time remotely while collaborating with teams operating on PST hours.
Responsibilities
- Conduct data discovery activities to understand available data sources, structures, and business requirements.
- Analyze and reverse-engineer business processes to align operational workflows with data models and reporting needs.
- Review data from multiple ticketing and operational systems, identifying relationships and opportunities for normalization.
- Translate business requirements into clear analytical specifications and data-driven solutions.
- Identify data gaps, inconsistencies, and process inefficiencies, proactively communicating findings to stakeholders.
- Support the creation and improvement of BI and AI-driven analytical workflows.
- Assist in validating pipeline data using modern AI tools and technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve data quality, accessibility, and reporting capabilities.
