Requirements
- Proven experience building and delivering mobile applications using React Native.
- Strong software engineering background with experience developing high-quality, production-level mobile products.
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical improvements, define coding standards, and influence engineering practices.
- Experience owning and delivering complex features and products from concept to deployment.
- Hands-on experience with native iOS and/or Android development environments, including app store release processes.
- Strong knowledge of TypeScript, GraphQL, and modern testing and quality practices.
- Experience working within product-driven teams focused on delivering highly performant applications.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and planning skills with a strong understanding of customer and business needs.
- Deep knowledge of software engineering best practices and the React Native technology landscape.
Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation and delivery of major mobile product features, from technical design through release and ongoing support.
- Drive improvements in code quality, architecture, design patterns, and engineering practices across the mobile application ecosystem.
- Take end-to-end ownership of the features you build, ensuring high standards of performance, reliability, and customer experience.
- Conduct code reviews, promote testing best practices, and contribute to a strong quality and automation culture.
- Collaborate closely with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver customer-focused mobile experiences.
- Help define technical direction and contribute to architecture decisions for scalable React Native applications.
- Optimize application performance and ensure smooth mobile experiences across different devices and platforms.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives, including CI/CD practices, release processes, and development workflows.
- Stay current with mobile technology trends and contribute knowledge of the React Native ecosystem to the wider engineering team.
