Requirements
- 3+ years (mid-level) or 5+ years (senior) of backend engineering experience.
- Expert proficiency in Python and scalable API/service design.
- Proven experience building real products on LLMs and Generative AI.
- Hands-on experience with RAG implementation, prompt design, and function calling.
- Deep understanding of vector databases, embeddings, tokenization, and transformers.
- Experience with LLM orchestration libraries like LangChain or LlamaIndex.
- Strong cloud infrastructure experience (AWS preferred) with ECS/EKS, Lambda, S3, and database management.
- Knowledge of IaC tools like Terraform or CDK.
- Expertise in observability, security, and progressive delivery strategies.
- Excellent communication skills for conveying complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of generative AI and LLM-powered services like chatbots, recommendations, and workflow automation.
- Design, implement, and optimize end-to-end RAG pipelines, including data ingestion, parsing, chunking, and vector indexing.
- Develop and refine LLM-based agentic systems for complex, multi-step tasks involving memory, planning, and tool use.
- Evaluate model performance, accuracy, latency, and hallucination rates through testing and user feedback.
- Engineer scalable, maintainable AI components with robust monitoring, logging, and production-grade architecture.
- Partner with product, design, and engineering teams to integrate AI solutions and mentor others on generative AI best practices.
