Requirements
- 5+ years of experience shipping production systems.
- Hands-on experience building systems with LLMs including tool use, structured output, and orchestration.
- Strong backend fundamentals with experience building reliable, observable, and secure systems.
- Experience with context management and evaluation frameworks for AI.
- Self-directed work style with the ability to identify, build, and ship features independently.
- Comfortable working in an ambiguous, early-stage product environment within a growth-stage company.
- Excellent communication skills for a fully-remote team environment.
- Bonus: Experience with OpenAI or Anthropic APIs.
- Bonus: Experience with evaluation/observability frameworks like Langfuse or Langchain.
- Bonus: Familiarity with subscription business models, app stores, or developer tools.
- Bonus: Experience building conversational interfaces such as Slack integrations.
Responsibilities
- Build foundational agent infrastructure including orchestration, tool execution, and context management.
- Implement evaluation and trust layers to give agents increasing autonomy.
- Ship new agentic features and product enhancements to the developer platform.
- Own core infrastructure components such as the tool framework or permissions layer.
- Review code, develop technical proposals, and participate in architectural discussions.
- Manage incident response and participate in the on-call rotation.
- Mentor other engineers as the team grows.
