Requirements
- 3–5 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong backend proficiency in Go, including services, APIs, concurrency, and data consistency.
- Experience with event-driven architecture, such as NATS, message brokers, idempotent consumers, and distributed transaction patterns.
- Experience with React and TypeScript for building and reviewing SPA features.
- Hands-on production experience with AI coding agents.
- Familiarity with MongoDB.
- Strong ability to read, debug, and refactor existing codebases.
- Discipline in maintaining traceability from requirements to code and tests.
- Fintech or payments industry experience is a plus, specifically regarding idempotency and transactional integrity.
Responsibilities
- Clarify ambiguities in technical specifications with authors and decompose work into verifiable increments.
- Design acceptance criteria, tests, and API contracts to ensure agent output is verifiable.
- Review and approve agent-generated code, identifying issues like scope creep, incorrect tests, or hallucinations.
- Write manual code in Go when agent-driven processes hit roadblocks.
- Tune the agent toolchain by managing skills, prompts, and workflows to improve cycle times and acceptance rates.
