Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering, including exposure to ML systems in production.
- Deep data engineering experience in building and owning pipelines from application sources to a warehouse at scale.
- Strong Python programming skills.
- Fluency in data stack tools such as Snowflake and Postgres.
- Experience with orchestration tools like Airflow or Dagster.
- Experience working with cloud computing environments like GCP or AWS.
- Track record of collaborating with analytics engineers to build reliable data models.
- Hands-on experience shipping and maintaining AI or ML systems in production.
- High-agency mindset to drive ambiguous problems to working outcomes.
- Experience using AI coding tools like Cursor, Claude Code, or Copilot.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and own data pipelines that transform data from application and third-party sources into relational databases.
- Partner with analytics engineering to build data models and reporting to provide visibility into work performance.
- Own data quality across ingestion, modeling, and reporting to ensure trustworthy AI outputs.
- Build and ship production AI systems and data infrastructure.
- Design and own evaluation systems, such as eval harnesses, test datasets, and production monitoring for AI features.
