Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related discipline.
- 10+ years of IT work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 6+ years of experience in the design and implementation of systems in Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- 5+ years of experience working in federal contracting, providing IT services to multiple agencies.
- 5+ years of experience in RFP solutioning and knowledge of Federal agencies (e.g., CMS, ED, VA, IRS, HHS).
- Hands-on experience in solution, technical, or information architecture.
- Knowledge of industry proposal practices, including Shipley Best Practices.
- High level of proficiency in business and technical writing, editing, and proofreading.
- Experience with AWS CLI, management console, VPC configuration, and the AWS Well-Architected Framework.
- Technical knowledge of networks, databases, and operating systems including Linux and Microsoft.
- Strong experience with Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall SDLC methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the overall design, development, and writing of the technical approach/solution for priority proposals.
- Interpret technical requirements of Federal Government procurement solicitations (RFPs, RFQs, RFIs).
- Identify and lead technical teams in developing innovative solutions in response to customer solicitations.
- Develop reusable solution content, branding of frameworks, and proof-of-concept (POC) case studies.
- Write, edit, and review technical proposal content, including the development of a basis of estimate (BOE).
- Design and develop technical solutions for bidding on Federal and State contracts and implement them in the AWS cloud.
- Design and support the AWS platform at Innosoft Labs including Linux-based instances.
- Translate customer requirements into AWS-based solutions following project lifecycle and architectural guidelines.
