Requirements
- 10+ years of product management experience.
- 2+ years of experience building and shipping conversational AI products.
- Proven ability to translate product strategy into actionable roadmaps.
- Deep understanding of conversational AI systems including prompt engineering, memory, guardrails, and evals.
- Technical fluency to collaborate effectively with engineering teams on tradeoffs.
- Strong data instincts for analyzing performance and driving decision-making.
- Executive presence with the ability to build organizational buy-in and present to senior leadership.
- Experience using AI tools to prototype and stress-test assumptions.
- Bias for action and ability to make decisions in regulated environments.
- Customer-obsessed mindset with empathy for financial wellness.
Responsibilities
- Define the long-term intelligence strategy for Ask Acorns across the Acorns and Acorns Early brands.
- Drive the Ask Acorns roadmap by partnering with product teams in Financial Planning, Financial Products, Families, and Growth.
- Partner with design to craft the AI voice, tone, persona, and edge-case handling.
- Develop strategy for conversational capabilities including memory, proactivity, and safety guardrails.
- Establish the quality bar with engineering regarding latency, reliability, and ecosystem infrastructure.
- Define success metrics and evaluation infrastructure to drive continuous product improvement.
