Requirements
- 4+ years of experience building technical programs from scratch.
- Strong technical background in Machine Learning, software engineering, or a scientific/research field.
- Practical domain experience in AI/ML, such as coordinating model releases, managing datasets, or supporting evaluations.
- Proven track record of delivering complex technical programs while managing strategic trade-offs.
- Experience facilitating the transfer of foundational or applied research into production environments.
- Ability to reason about technical trade-offs, including compute efficiency, inference infrastructure, and model output quality.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience building processes, systems, and structure in 0-to-1 environments.
- Deep commitment to AI safety and beneficial outcomes.
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
Responsibilities
- Take complex technical programs from idea to delivery by scoping plans, setting milestones, and ensuring efficient cross-team execution.
- Prioritize competing demands in partnership with research teams to focus effort on high-impact work.
- Build and maintain compute and resource roadmaps to address bottlenecks and accelerate progress.
- Transfer research findings, methods, and tools to frontier labs and relevant stakeholders.
- Coordinate with internal operations, events, and communications teams to ensure alignment on timelines and research context.
