- At least 5 years of clinical practice experience post-residency
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- Current, unrestricted license to practice medicine.
- Active board certification in Family Medicine.
- At least 5 years of clinical practice experience post-residency.
- Active medical licenses in CA, TX, or FL, plus 5 additional state licenses.
- Eligibility for expedited licensure through the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) in 5 additional states.
- Ability to work independently with high patient volumes via video and chat.
- Proficiency with EMR systems and comfort navigating telehealth platforms.
- Willingness to obtain additional state licenses as needed.
- Reliable high-speed internet access.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive virtual assessments, diagnoses, and evidence-based treatment planning for patients.
- Manage and coordinate care for chronic conditions.
- Provide preventive care, wellness counseling, and health education.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests and lab results.
- Prescribe medications in accordance with state and federal regulations.
- Handle referrals and prior authorizations.
- Serve as a collaborating physician for Nurse Practitioners, providing oversight and mentorship.
- Document patient encounters thoroughly in the EMR system.
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and clinical quality standards.
