Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field with 8+ years of cloud engineering experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure components.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation including Python, PowerShell, and Bash.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Experience with Docker or Kubernetes.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Possession of relevant certifications (e.g., VCP-CMA, VCP-DCV, AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Google Cloud Professional Architect).
- Secret security clearance.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage cloud-based computing solutions and infrastructure for CASTLE-NET projects.
- Ensure high availability, reliability, optimized performance, and robust security of cloud-based applications.
- Manage virtualized environments using vSphere, NSX, vSAN, and vRealize Suite.
- Execute VMware Cloud Foundation operations, Private to Public Cloud migration, and hybrid cloud networking (HCX).
- Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders for seamless integration.
- Provide IT services and support to U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) end-users.
