Requirements
- 5+ years of production software engineering experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with TypeScript, Node.js, and React/Next.js.
- Proven experience with AWS services, especially Lambda, SQS, DynamoDB, and IAM.
- Experience working in brownfield or legacy codebases.
- Security-aware engineering mindset, with familiarity with NIST 800-53 or comparable security frameworks.
- Practical knowledge of AWS Security Hub, CIS benchmarks, or similar cloud security standards.
- Experience using AI coding tools critically, with emphasis on validation and sound engineering judgment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain features across the stack using TypeScript, Node.js, React, and Next.js.
- Build and support backend services and cloud components in AWS, including Lambda, SQS, DynamoDB, and IAM.
- Improve system reliability, maintainability, and performance in an existing production codebase.
- Apply security-conscious development practices and support secure-by-default engineering decisions.
- Collaborate with product and technical stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Review, validate, and refine AI-assisted code and tooling outputs before merging into production.
- Contribute to engineering best practices, code quality, and technical documentation.
