Requirements
- Strong academic background in engineering, business, or comparable experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in the payment industry, with a track record in cross-border payments preferred.
- Proven experience as a commercial director or in a relevant leadership role within Europe.
- Proven track record in sales, marketing, and managing key client relationships.
- In-depth understanding of market research methods and analytical techniques.
- Solid knowledge of performance reporting and financial/budgeting processes.
- Commercial awareness coupled with a strategic mindset.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Fluency in at least two major European languages (e.g., French, German, Spanish, or Italian).
- Ability to communicate clearly and confidently with both technical and business audiences.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement commercial strategies to accelerate growth across Europe.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify and pursue new commercial opportunities.
- Manage existing customer requirements to ensure satisfaction and retention.
- Acquire new customers and build long-term relationships with key accounts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, marketing, and customer success.
- Build and maintain profitable partnerships with key stakeholders.
- Monitor commercial performance metrics and prepare reports for senior management.
- Assist in financial planning, budgeting, and target setting.
