Requirements
- Minimum of 5–6 years of hands-on experience in Data Engineering, with proven expertise in enterprise-scale data platforms.
- Strong experience with Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, and Azure data services in production environments.
- Solid understanding of SQL, data modeling, data warehousing concepts, and modern cloud-based data architectures.
- Demonstrated experience designing and implementing scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and enterprise data integration solutions.
- Proficiency in Python, Apache Spark, or similar technologies for large-scale data processing.
- Experience optimizing cloud-based workflows for performance, reliability, scalability, and cost management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to troubleshoot complex production challenges.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and automation techniques to improve engineering productivity.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Immediate availability or short notice period is highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, and Azure data services.
- Build and optimize ETL/ELT processes capable of handling structured, semi-structured, and unstructured enterprise data.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather requirements and translate them into robust data engineering solutions.
- Develop and maintain reliable data integration workflows that ensure data quality, consistency, and accessibility across platforms.
- Optimize data processing environments for performance, scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency.
- Utilize AI-assisted development tools and modern engineering practices to accelerate delivery and enhance solution quality.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues while proactively identifying opportunities for automation and continuous improvement.
- Implement best practices related to data governance, documentation, testing, security, and operational support.
- Take ownership of project deliverables by managing timelines, communicating risks effectively, and driving high-quality outcomes.
