Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, including 3+ years specifically with ServiceNow.
- Proven experience in the federal contracting space (DoD, DHS, or Civilian agencies).
- Deep knowledge of ServiceNow ITSM and at least one other major workflow (ITOM, HRSD, SPM, ITAM, or Custom Applications).
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Proficiency with backlog management tools like Jira, ServiceNow Agile, or Azure DevOps.
- Proficiency in process mapping tools like Visio or LucidChart.
Responsibilities
- Lead client workshops and focus groups to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements.
- Translate business needs into comprehensive user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications.
- Conduct gap analysis between legacy processes and ServiceNow Out of the Box functionality.
- Develop detailed process maps, workflows, and data models to visualize service delivery.
- Review user stories and requirements for accuracy and ensure they meet the Definition of Ready.
- Advise government stakeholders on ServiceNow best practices to minimize technical debt.
- Ensure solution designs adhere to federal IT standards including Section 508 and FISMA/NIST controls.
- Develop and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) plans and coordinate testing with government personnel.
