Requirements
- Bachelor's degree.
- Active state teaching license.
- Computer Science 8-12 OR Computer Information System certification.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint.
- Ability to clear required background check.
- Ability to work collaboratively to interpret student data to drive instructional decisions.
- Receptive to receiving regular coaching from administrators and trainers.
- Ability to rapidly learn and adapt to new technologies and teaching platforms.
- Ability to maintain teacher certification and professional development hours.
- Ability to travel up to 20% of the time for professional development or testing.
Responsibilities
- Provide rich and engaging synchronous and asynchronous learning experiences for students.
- Differentiate instruction based on student level of mastery.
- Maintain grade book and manage student placement and promotion decisions.
- Establish and maintain positive rapport with families and communicate in a timely manner.
- Support learning coaches/parents with curricular and instructional issues.
- Collaborate with professional learning communities.
- Serve as an Advisor for Career & Technical Student Organization.
- Support the creation of business and industry partnerships for work-based learning.
- Support a project-based learning model.
