Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in information security with IT engineering depth.
- Demonstrated ownership of SOC II Type 2 and ISO 27001 readiness and audit cycles.
- Deep hands-on experience with IAM, endpoint security, and cloud infrastructure (AWS or GCP).
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Go, or Bash.
- Experience with SSO/IdP platforms like Okta, Google Workspace, or Entra.
- Familiarity with MDM, EDR tooling, and logging/SIEM stacks.
- Strong written communication skills for policy and incident reporting.
- Experience in crypto or AI/ML domains is considered a plus.
Responsibilities
- Lead the information security program across NEAR Foundation with cross-functional collaboration.
- Drive SOC II Type 2 and ISO 27001 readiness, including control design and auditor liaison.
- Engineer security and compliance automation for SaaS estates and workflows.
- Own security architecture for identity, access, and endpoint stacks including SSO, MFA, and MDM.
- Manage cloud security posture, secrets management, and baseline configurations in AWS or GCP.
- Lead investigation and response for security incidents and vulnerability management.
- Provide technical escalation support for complex security issues across the organization.
