Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in on-page SEO, content strategy, organic growth, or similar roles within e-commerce, marketplaces, or content-focused businesses.
- Strong understanding of SEO fundamentals, including search intent, keyword research, content optimization, and ranking factors.
- Proven experience creating SEO strategies that directly contribute to measurable business outcomes such as traffic growth, conversions, or revenue.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify opportunities, and translate insights into actionable strategies.
- Experience conducting competitor research and analyzing content performance across different categories or verticals.
- High level of ownership, initiative, and ability to independently manage SEO projects.
- Hands-on experience with SEO and analytics platforms such as Ahrefs, SimilarWeb, Google Search Console, Google Analytics, or equivalent tools.
- Comfortable using AI and LLM tools such as Claude, Gemini, or similar technologies to improve research, strategy development, and productivity.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with content, marketing, and SEO teams.
- Strong problem-solving mindset with a passion for continuous experimentation and optimization.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive on-page SEO strategies to improve organic visibility, traffic growth, and business performance across multiple content verticals.
- Analyze existing content performance, identify optimization opportunities, and recommend improvements based on SEO insights and business objectives.
- Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and SERP evaluations to discover new content opportunities and improve existing pages.
- Identify emerging content niches and validate opportunities that can support long-term organic growth.
- Create and prioritize content roadmaps based on search demand, business impact, and strategic value.
- Collaborate with content teams, editors, and marketing stakeholders to ensure SEO best practices are integrated throughout the content lifecycle.
- Monitor SEO performance metrics, evaluate optimization results, and continuously improve strategies based on data-driven insights.
- Leverage AI tools and emerging technologies to enhance research processes, content planning, and SEO operations.
- Stay informed about search engine algorithm updates, industry trends, and evolving SEO best practices.
- Take ownership of SEO initiatives by independently identifying opportunities and driving projects from strategy through execution.
