Requirements
- 5+ years building production software.
- 2-3+ years focused on data engineering.
- Strong programming skills in Python.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL.
- Proven experience building end-to-end ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Hands-on experience with a cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Hands-on experience with a modern data warehouse (Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift).
Responsibilities
- Design and scale data platform architecture across pipelines, models, and orchestration.
- Define and implement systems for data ingestion, storage, processing, and transformation.
- Optimize data systems for performance, scalability, and cost.
- Build scalable ETL/ELT pipelines ingesting from APIs, databases, and event streams.
- Apply software engineering principles like testing, CI/CD, and modular design.
- Establish best practices for data modeling, testing, and quality.
- Build the semantic layer and dashboards for company-wide data accessibility.
