Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience managing production workloads within containerized environments
- 5 years of experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) implementations via Infrastructure as Code with a strong emphasis on security best practices
- Proficiency with Docker
- Experience with a container orchestration platform (e.g., Kubernetes, ECS)
- Experience with web proxy technologies (e.g., NGINX)
- Proficiency in at least one programming language: Python, Go, or Ruby
- Solid understanding of relational databases
- Familiarity with the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
- Experience with monitoring, logging, and metrics-gathering tools such as Datadog, NewRelic, or CloudWatch
- Commitment to continuous improvement and learning new technology stacks
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving and navigating ambiguity
Responsibilities
- Lead and contribute to projects focused on enhancing security, system reliability, release processes, developer experiences, cost optimizations, and observability
- Collaborate with various engineering, IT, and People teams to solve security challenges in infrastructure, CI pipelines, application, endpoint security, AI workloads, and general enterprise security
- Lead and implement our infrastructure-as-code (IaC) and compliance initiatives
- Participate in security reviews of third-party vendors and services
- Improve the overall developer experiences by refining tools, workflows, and AI usage
- Contribute to our on-call rotation
